Faith Anita Rapp, age 87, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at The Springs of Lima. 
She was born May 1, 1935 in Kenton, Ohio to the late Theodore and Dorothy (Casper) Blumenschine. On October 13, 1956 she married Richard L. Rapp who preceded her in death on February 23, 2018. 
She was a member of the First Evangelical and Reformed Church in Lima, OH. Mrs. Faith was a 1953 graduate of Kenton High School. She retired from the Lima City Schools, where she taught at Irving Elementary and was Principal at Westwood Elementary. She also taught on the Army base in Germany where her husband was stationed early in their marriage. Teaching was her gift, and she was honored to be recognized as a Martha Holden Jennings Foundation Scholar. She cared deeply for the well-being of all kids. 
In her retirement Faith was content being a loving wife and mother, and tending to her house and gardens. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends in Florida. As the years progressed, she treasured fond memories in her heart. 
She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Rapp, of Lima, OH. Her brother Robert (Kathleen) Blumenschine of Kenton, OH, and sister Joyce (Robert) Cannarozzi of Dayton, OH. 
Private graveside services will take place at Grove Cemetery in Kenton, Ohio. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
