She died at 4:05 A.M. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Hardin Hills. She was born on April 2, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Thomas and Clara Lawrence.
Surviving are 2 daughters; Tina (Larry) Nelson of Kenton, Robin (David) Perkins of Kenton, 3 brothers; Thomas (Rebecca) Lawrence, Bob Ray Lawrence, David Lawrence, 9 grandchildren; Greg (Ashlee) Nelson, Elizabeth Nelson, Jessica Nelson, Cynthia (Brad) Davis, Billie Perkins, Melissa (Steve) Massey, David Bradley (Betty) Perkins, Chris Perkins, Cassie (Shane) Keel, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Ethel worked as a Nurse Assistant from the age of 16 until the time of her retirement.
She enjoyed listening to country and gospel music, playing bingo and watching westerns.
Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
