No services will be held for Elsa Denise Nichols. It was her wish to be cremated. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Denise died on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at the Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 23, 1967 in Kenton to the late Denzil Nichols and Linda (Crisp) Crockett.
Surviving are a daughter; Stacia Harp of Alger, a son; Donald Harp of Toledo, 4 sisters; Gail (Jim) Conley of Kenton, Georgetta (Stan) Hussey of Michigan, Faith (Dean) Crockett of Kenton, Shirley Ross of Ohio, a brother; Jackie Manns of Kenton, 5 grandchildren; Emily Harp, Amiyah Ferrell, Kamron Stover, Amira Carr, Khalani Carr, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a son; David Harp, a sister; Fawn Prater, and 2 brothers; Todd Manns and Denzil Nichols Jr.
Dense worked as a nurse's aid in various local nursing homes and also did some home health care.
She enjoyed fishing and making sure her house was kept spotless. More than anything, Denise loved her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Denise's honor may be made to the Hardin County Humane Society
