Funeral services for Edward "Eddie" Joseph Cornish will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, October 21, 2024, at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery in Kenton. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home.

He was born on May 10, 1945, in Kenton to the late Micheal and Katherin (Newland) Cornish of Kenton. He married Karen (Gault) Lawrence but later divorced and she survives in Kenton. 

Also surviving are his twin daughters; Kim (Kenny Williams) Cole of Kenton, Kelli (Danny) Prater of Kenton, daughter, Kayleen Lee of Norwalk, son, Dan (Lori) Cornish of Bucyrus, sisters, Mira Cornish of Kenton, Joni Miller of Kenton, grandchildren; Samantha Cornish, Kenzie Williams, Haley Bradley, Dylan (Mae) Myers, Derrick (Amber) Lee, Lisa (Jason) Wilson, Jared Lee, Stephanie Cornish, Nichole Cornish, great grandchildren, nephew, Richie Goff and several more nieces and nephews. 

Eddie was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Sidney Cornish, Micheal Henry Jr., David Cornish and a grandson, Dustin J. Willison.

He retired from Honda in Marysville after more than 20 years. 

Eddie was a US Navy Veteran. 

He was a member of the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars), AM Vets and Eagles Lodge.

Eddie enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his special friend, Patricia Lease, family and friends. He was a little stubborn and had a smile that could brighten any room. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Eddie's honor may be made to the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton in care of the family.
