Funeral services for Edith M. Shirk will be private. Burial will take place at Grove Cemetery in Kenton. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Edith died on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at her residence. She was born on August 29, 1961 in Kenton to the late Walter and Helen (Hildreth) Lansdown.
Surviving are her 3 children; Aaron Shirk, Katie Shirk, Sarah (Steve) Smith, siblings; Betty (Tom) Draime, Wanda (Paul) Risner, Terri Lansdown, Grandchildren; Logan and Makayla Brown, Conner and Tyler Shirk, Alyssa, Trey and Trinity Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother; Gary Lansdown.
Edith was a 1979 graduate of Kenton HIgh School. She worked as a legal secretary for various law offices in the area for many years.
She enjoyed dancing, tending to her flowers and crochet. Most of all Edith loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ohio Health Hospice or a charity of the donors choice.
