Doris J. (Rose) DeLong, age 73, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025. She was born on November 20, 1951, in Johnstown, PA to the late Delbert and Myrna (Hesketh) Rose. She married Martin DeLong in 2000 and he survives along with a brother: Ron (Kim) Rose, two daughters: Kim (Jason) Hites and Rebecca (Michael) Mermann, a special niece who was more like a daughter: Melinda Rose Campbell, 5 grandchildren: Bryce Williams, Seth Mermann, Ty Williams, Sierra (JD) Harvey and Legacie Mermann, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews that were more like grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Vernon Rose, Alfred Rose and Melvin Rose.
She was a hardworking businesswoman. She managed the hop for many years and has owned and managed No Limits Hair & Tannery since 1992.
She was so many things to so many people and anyone who knew her would tell you what an amazing, loving, hardworking woman she was. She loved her dogs and family more than anything. She made holidays so special & she was the biggest giver no matter the occasion.
 She is also survived by her sisters-in-law: Virginia (Larry) Borger, Martha (Ron) Weihrauch, Sheila (Mike) Ward and Cheryl (Danny) Minix, brothers-in-law: Richard Jr (Jane) DeLong, Carl (Sondra) DeLong and Jack DeLong.
Also preceded in death by mother-in-law, Essie DeLong, brothers-in-law, Norman Appleton, Bruce Goodman, Don Fortner and sisters-in-law, Catherine Fortner, Jodi Inman and Julie DeLong.
To honor Doris’s wishes there will not be any services. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Memorial donations in Doris's honor may be made to the Hardin County Humane Society.
