Diane L. (Patch) Gibbs passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026, at her home in Kenton. She was born on July 7, 1947, in Kenton to the late Fred and Mary (James) Patch. On July 27, 1968, she married Richard Gibbs and he preceded her in death on March 21, 2018.

Surviving are numerous cousins.

Diane was a 1965 graduate of Ridgemont High School. 

Diane loved to socialize with her friends and was truly thankful for all of their friendship and help over the years. 

Funeral services for Diane will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery in Kenton. Friends and family may visit 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Diane's honor may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
