Funeral services for Diana Sue Scott will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 4, 2021 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Norman Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the funeral home.
On Monday, May 31, 2021, Diana Sue Scott, loving mother and grandmother passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Kenton on November 3, 1946 to the late Harold and Betty (Fay) Johnston. Her life was a tough one but she was tougher. She married Ronald Scott and he preceded her in death. She then married Keith Fish Sr., and he also passed away.
Surviving are 2 sons; Ron (Shelly) Scott Jr, James (Shannon) Scott, 2 step-sons; Keith Fish Jr., Bill Fish, 4 siblings; J.R. (Brenda) Rostorfer, Gary Gene (Joyce) Rostorfer, Russell (Sherry) Rostorfer, Glenna Furr, 5 grandchildren; Ronnie Scott III, Amy (Dustin Randall) Scott, Brandi Scott, Letitia Scott, Melissa Scott, 8 great-grandchildren; Layla, Austyn, Ella, Elijah, Gracelynn, Hailey, Jayden, Erika, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son; Harold "Dean" Scott.
Diana worked for most of her life at International Paper in Kenton from which she later retired. She enjoyed shopping for "Great Deals'', cooking/baking, crafts, sewing, and country music. She loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. Diana had a huge heart and a beautiful soul. You could never leave her presence without, "a bushel, a peck, and a hug around the neck". Diana was a wonderful friend, and a strong matriarch of the family. Her kind words and encouragement will be missed greatly by many.
