Funeral services for Delorris "Dee" A. Kougher will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, April 2, 2021 at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Friends and family may visit two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Masks will be required and Covid-19 protocols should be followed.
Dee died on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 6, 1957 in Kenton to the late Morris Spangler and Agnes (Carol) Hattery. On July 11, 1981 she married Jim Kougher and he survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 3 daughters; Kathy Robinson of Kenton, Penny (Roy) Davis of Kenton, Melissa (Matthew) Bias of Kenton, a son; James (Kayleigh) Kougher of New Castle, IN, 2 sisters; Shirlene "Mom" Conley of Kenton, Lula Cathy (Roger) Kemmere of Kenton, a brother; Gene (Tonya) Pettit of Kenton, 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers; Jimmy Spangler, Walt Spangler, Pete Spangler, Roger Spangler, Don Pettit, Bill Pettit and a sister; Doris Later.
Dee was a dedicated wife, mother, grandma, sister, and aunt. She loved to play cards and yahtzee while enjoying a cup of coffee with her family members.  Dee was the head of the house and everyone knew they could come to her with anything. Family was the only thing that mattered to her and she will be deeply missed by those that knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
