A graveside service for Darryl D. Lloyd will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Grove Cemetery Committal Building in Kenton with Pastor Jason Manns officiating. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Darryl passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital ER in Kenton. He was born on July 7, 1968, in Kenton to Carol "Susie" (Sturgis) Lloyd who survives in Kenton, and the late James Lloyd.

Surviving are his children; Mallory (Bryan) Hipsher of Ada, Rachel Lloyd of Kenton, Devon Lloyd of Kenton, 4 grandchildren; Zoey Kieffer, Estin Hipsher, Deklan Hipsher, Pepper Lloyd, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Martino.

Darryl worked as an electrician for Philips Electric and moved on to be the head electrician for Buckeye Egg. 

In his younger years, Darryl enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and watching documentaries.

Darryl was a private man who was smart, witty and brutally honest. He kept or collected everything because he "had a use for it".

His grandchildren were the most important people in his life, they were his main priority. He loved them dearly and wanted to be with them all of the time.

Memorial donations in Darryl's honor may be made to Not By Choice or the Amvets Post 1994 Rider in Kenton.
