Darius L. Isenbarger 70
of Lima formerly of Dunkirk
Funeral services for Darius L. Isenbarger will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Craig Mansfield officiating. Burial will follow at Dunkirk Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home.
Darius passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. He was born on August 5, 1953, in Findlay to the late Robert and Helen (Riling) Isenbarger. On October 5, 1953, he married Deborah Oates and she survives in Lima.
Also surviving are 2 daughters, Dawn (Jack) Carter of Lima, Krista King of Findlay, 5 grandchildren, Grace King, Bryce Manson, Makenna Isenbarger, Ella King, Aubree Isenbarger, a great-granddaughter, Evelyn King, 2 sisters, Debi (Gary) Fulks of Dunkirk, Cheryl (Howrad) Von Stein of Jenera, a brother, Greg (Vicki) Isenbarger of Dunkirk, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert and Jeff Isenbarger.
Darius was a 1972 graduate from Hardin Northern High School. He worked for Hardin Northern Schools as a custodian for many years. He and his wife attended First Baptist Church in Kenton. They also spent a lot of time at Riverside RV Park in Arcadia, Florida where they met and made many friends.
Darius had a love of the arts. He enjoyed making pottery and photography. He would take pictures of almost everything but especially loved being outdoors and photographing animals and nature. Most of all, Darius loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Darius' honor may be made to the Hardin Northern Scholarship Fund.
