Graveside services for Daniel Lee Hall will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Grove Cemetery Committal Building. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dan passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Embassy of Marion. He was born on October 30, 1950, in Kenton, to the late Marlowe Gene Hall and Barbara Aileen (Byrd) Gillis. On January 24, 1971, he married Suzanne Doll, and she survives in Forest.
Also surviving are a son, Eric (Nicole) Hall of Plain City, 7 brothers, Sam (Brenda) Hall of TN, Ron (Dee) Hall of AR, Marty Hall of Ada, Jeff (Diane) Hall of Fremont, Mike (Nicki) Hall of Dunkirk, Chris (Connie) Hall of Findlay, Bobby (Cheryl) Hall of Akron, 2 sisters, Kay Stephan of GA, and Pam (Larry) Rogers of Forest.
He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Lee Hall Jr., a sister, Judy Moses, and a brother, Mark Hall.
Dan was a proud Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. He was a life member of the Amvets Post 1994 and a life member of the VFW serving as commander twice.
Dan loved Nascar and his favorite driver was Dale Earnhart. He participated in demo derbies in Kenton for several years. Dan also loved to dance and would dance with whoever would get on the dance floor with him.
Memorial donations in Daniel's honor may be made to Amvest Post 1994 of Kenton.
