of Kenton
A celebration of life for Connie Scott will begin at 12:30 P.M. on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Connie passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. She was born on September 22, 1950, in Urbana, Ohio to the late Fred and Grace (Ramsey) Garvey. She married Richard Burroughs, and they later divorced. She then married Gerald Scott, and he preceded her in death.
Surviving is 2 daughters: Maria (Rob) Warmbrod of Kenton, Michelle (Jim) Wiley of Richwood, son, Richard Burroughs of Carey, brother, Frederick Garvey of Georgia, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Burroughs.
Connie attended Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God in Alger. Connie loved going to church and spending time with her church family.
Over Connie's lifetime she had worked several various cleaning jobs in the area.
Connie enjoyed playing with her 2 dogs, being outdoors, especially planting flowers. She was a very social lady who would talk with anyone. Most of all, Connie loved being with her family, and spending time with them.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Connie's honor may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
