of Kenton
A celebration of life for Charles William Burris will be held on Sunday, August 04, 2024, at 16940 US Hwy 68, Kenton Ohio from 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Chuck died on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He was born on July 10, 1972, in Lima, Ohio to the late Lowell and Marsha (Burris) Murdock.
Surviving are daughter, Brittany Saxton of Bellefontaine, fiancé, Tara Long of Kenton, sister, Carissa (Phillip) Tubbs of Pensacola, Florida, sister in-law, Nikki Manns of Kenton, brother-in-law, Jamie Long of Kenton, grandchildren, Kaelynn, Braelin, Jaelin Saxton, nieces and nephews, Haley Jordan, Brooke Murdock-Bowman, Cayden Waller, Mackenna Manns, Cierra Manns, aunts and uncles, William Douglas (Sharon) Burris of Harrod, Terri Bridensteine of Alger, and Rick (Tina) Burris of Alger.
Chuck went to Kenton High School where he enjoyed playing football. He worked as a mechanic in Kenton for many years.
He loved drag racing, fast cars, and loud music. Most of all, Chuck loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He had a passion for helping animals, especially dogs, and would bring home any stray he found.
He was the type of guy that would help anyone with anything no matter what it cost him or what he had going on. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Memorial contributions in Chuck's honor may be made to the Hardin County Humane Society.
