Funeral services for Carolyn Sue Tanner will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 6, 2025, at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Mark Mauldin officiating. Burial will follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Carolyn went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 2:34 pm. She was born to Polly Rowe on February 21, 1948. She married her husband Gene on September 10, 1966, and he survives in Marion. 

Also surviving are a daughter; April McKinney, granddaughter, Emmalea McKinney, 4 sisters; Wilma, Donna, Micki (Ken), Lori, 2 brothers; Ed, and John, brothers-in-law, Tim Clifford, Rick and Johnny, sister-in-law, Susie, special Aunt Bea and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, sisters, Lisa and Marsha, and brothers-in-law, Marion and Jr.

Carolyn attended the Word of Life Christian Center in Marion with Pastor and friend Mark Mauldin. 

She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and especially going to Church. 

Memorial donations in Carolyn's honor may be made to the Word of Life Christian Center in Marion.
