Caroline Joyce Stevens

Caroline “Joyce” Stevens, 76 years of age, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Monday,
December 5, 2022.
She was born on June 8, 1946 in Kenton, to the late Wilbert Schmidt and Thelma (Switzer) Schmidt. Joyce married her soulmate, Richard Stevens on December 5, 1975 and he survives in Kenton.
Joyce is also survived by her siblings; Patricia Schmidt and Dean Schmidt. Children; Trenna (Tracy) Cupps, Shannon (Jeff) Spence, Floyd Stevens, and W.R. Andrew (Lauren) Stevens. Grandchildren; Tessa (Tony)Benedetti, Garret (Erin) Drumm, Shawn Stevens, Andrea Stevens, Gavin Spence, and Nicole Stevens and three great grandchildren.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; Wilbert Schmidt and Thelma Schmidt, her siblings; Peggy Schmidt, Dorothy Wornstaff, and Charles Schmidt.
 She graduated from Kenton High School in 1964.
Joyce was a wonderful baker and cook.  She adored watching her children and grandchildren play sports. Joyce had a love for all dogs, especially Schnauzers. She enjoyed antiquing, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, and socializing with friends and family.
She will be truly missed by her family and friends. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
