Funeral Services for Carol A. Mouser will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Price - McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Bill Roszman officiating. Burial will follow in Wolfcreek Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, October 1, 2018. 
She died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Vancrest of Ada. She was born on January 23, 1942 in Kenton to the late William and Hazel (McKinley) Metzler. On June 7, 1959 she married Charles Mouser and he survives in Ada.
Also surviving are 5 daughters; Julia (Gilbert) McFarlin of Kenton, Tina (Patrick) Mabrey of Harrod, Elizabeth (Eugene) Tackett of Alger, Dorothy Mullins of Kenton and Robyn (Rodney Doornbos) Keiser of Kenton, 1 son; William Mouser of Harrod, 17 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild and several nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by a son; Charles LeRoy Mouser II, a son-in-law; Charles Mullins and 2 Granddaughters; Courtney Keiser and Ashley Keiser. 
Carol was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Kenton but was attending the Ada Church of Christ, the last couple of years.
She enjoyed crocheting, and singing gospel music in church. 
She loved taking care of her family, and being a mother was her number one priority. She especially loved her grandchildren and spent time with them as much as she could. 
Memorials may be made to Putnam County Homecare and Hospice.
