There will be no immediate services for Carlton ``Short" Ray Musselman. Per his request, he will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
He passed away on January 5, 2021 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on August 11, 1944 in Kenton to the late Carl and Josephine (McCullough) Musselman. On February 5, 1966 he married the love of his life, Nancy Wilson and she survives in Kenton.
He is also survived by his 2 daughters; Amy (John) Cahill of Marysville, Staci Musselman of Upper Sandusky, 2 grandsons; Jacob Cahill of Columbus and Josh Cahill of Marysville.
Carl graduated from Hardin Northern High School in 1962. In May of 1965 he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served 6 years in a reserve unit in Lima.
He worked 30 years for Rockwell International, plus had his own trucking business from 1970-1993. He also worked in various agricultural areas until just lately.
Carl was a member of Walnut Grove Church, Dunkirk Masonic Lodge 549, Kenton Shriners, and the Hardin County Farm Bureau.
Carl was known as one who could recall all kinds of stories from his lifetime. He loved his Chevy trucks and polished them often. He was an avid snowmobiler, often traveling to Michigan whenever he could.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Walnut Grove Church.
