A funeral service for Birtha Tucker will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Only Believe Ministries Church in Kenton with Pastor Phil Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Hueston Cemetery in Forest. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton.
Birtha died on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born on March 13, 1931 in Hurricane, West Virginia to the late Leonard and Lillian (Call) Taylor. On May 16, 1949 she married Harry Tucker Sr and he preceded her in death on August 30, 1988.
Surviving are 6 daughters; Shirely (Gary) Meade of Morral, Sharon (Richard) Chapman of Green Camp, Karon Tucker of Lewistown, Gay Tucker of Marion, Darlene Mendenhall of Kenton, Jeanie Tucker of Forest, a son; Mark Tucker of Nashville, 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 5 sisters; Ruth Cremeans, Carolyn Workman, Virginia Smiley, Linda Duncan, Katherine Campbell, 2 brothers; Clyde Taylor, David Taylor, and numerous nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by a son; Harry Tucker Jr, a granddaughter; Shelly Tucker, 4 sisters; Kathy Lily, Gladys Spalding, Lucille Cremeans, Freda Taylor and 3 brothers; Normal Taylor, Ray Taylor, and Locie Taylor, a son-in-law; Wayne Mendenhall and a daughter-in-law; Carolyn Tucker.
Birtha worked for herself, cleaning homes and businesses in the Hardin County Area.
She was a member of the Only Believe Ministries Church in Kenton
Birtha's first priority was her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going on vacation with her family. She was a godly woman, who loved going to church and loved the Lord. In her free time, Birtha enjoyed gardening, doing puzzles with her daughter and taking care of her pets.
Memorial donations in Birtha's honor may be made to Universal Home Health and Hospice or the Only Believe Ministries Church.
