There will be no services for Billy Ray Minix. It was his wish to be cremated. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Billy passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Lima Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on March 22,1959, in Kenton to the late Kenton and Masella (Rowe) Minix. He married Beverly Zachary in 1980 and she survives.
Also surviving are a daughter; Heather (Chuck) Griffin, 2 sons; Keith Minix, Kevin (Jyoti) Minix, 7 grandchildren; Caleb, Nicholas, Joe, Alex, Raven, Aiden, Hailey, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 2 infant babies, and his teenage brother.
Billy loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting with his best friend Chuck. When he wasn't doing that he was watching any kind of sport. He truly was an avid sports fan. But most of all he loved spending time with his wife of 44 years, their family and friends. He especially enjoyed the time with his grandchildren.
