Funeral services for Betty Eloise Creviston will be private. Burial will take place in Byhalia Cemetery. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory is assisting the family with arrangements.
She died onTuesday, January 19, 2021 at  Kenton Nursing and Rehab. She was born on October 7, 1922 in rural Ridgeway to the late Ralph and Ruth (Wallace) Skidmore. On May 22, 1941 she married Alvin Creviston and he preceded her in death on July 9, 1992. 
Surviving are a son; Russell (Linda) Creviston of West Mansfield, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by a son; Roger Lee Creviston,  a sister; Eileen Rizor, and  granddaughter; Deon Chere Creviston.
Eloise was a hard working farm wife until joining the Plaza Inn for 2 years when it initially opened. She then took a job as a cook with Byhalia Schools and moved onto North Union Schools when Byhalia closed. She retired after 27 years of service to the school systems.
Eloise never knew a stranger and loved to help people. She volunteered for God's Life Line in Mt. Victory and was an active member of the Byhalia Friends Church for many years. 
She also loved to bake. Eloise was known for her Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats, and was always sure to bake something for the many church events and fundraisers. 
The family would like to thank Eloises' in-home caregivers as well as Viaquest Hospice for the care and love they showed their mother.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to God's Life Line in Mt. Victory or the Byhalia Friends Church.
