Banarr “Barney” Eibling 78
Of Kenton
A graveside committal service for Bannar Eibling will be held at a later date at Dunkirk Cemetery. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
He was born on March 6, 1943 to Burlous and Martha Eibling (Yenney). He passed away Wednesday, March 3l, 2021 at 9:40 pm at the Marion General Hospital.
Banarr worked at Wilson Sporting Goods for over 40 years before retiring in 2007.
He was a member of Ohio AMVETS Post 1994 and attended First Baptist Church in Kenton.
Banarr was an avid car enthusiast and was a driver of dragsters. His love of automobiles included a large number of collectible metal classic cars. Racing was a passion of Banarr's and on Saturdays and Sundays he could often be found in front of his TV watching NASCAR prerace, the race and post-race coverage. Banarr also enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends on the water.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church.
