A celebration of life for April Lynn Reid will be held from 12:00 P.M. to dusk on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Veterans Memorial Park (Boy Scout Lake). The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements. 
April died unexpectedly on Friday, September 17, 2021 at her residence. She was born on March 16, 1977 in Cincinnati to the late Charles Lawson and Ernestine (Elliott) Helton. She married Jeffrey Reid and he survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 2 daughters; Morgan (Robert) Pike of Bellefontaine, Autumn Reid of Kenton, 3 sisters; Amanda Walters of Kenton, Angela Walters of Lima, Selena Walters of Amelia, a brother; Tony Lawson of Batavia, a granddaughter; Novalee Pike and several nieces and nephews. 
April was a great mother, sister, and grandmother. She loved her family dearly, especially her granddaughter, who was her pride and joy that she loved to babysit. Her free time was spent watching her favorite Tv shows, like CSI or any other tv drama show.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
