A celebration of life for Alma Dawn Wilson will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Alma passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on July 14, 1948, in Hepburn to the late Lloyd and Madura (Greer) Gale. In March of 1969 she married Donald Adams, and they later divorced. 

Surviving are her children, Richard (Missy) Adams, Annette Higgins, her grandchildren, Matthew, Brady, Dakota (Trevor), Darrian, Logan (Patience), Lance, Nicholas, 13 great-grandchildren with one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lloyd, David, Edward, Robbie, and her sisters, Twila "Jaylene", Loricia, and Leeann.

Alma graduated from Kenton High School in 1967. She worked for many years at Essexwire, United Technologies and Andover, from which she retired.

She volunteered for many years at the Kenton Little League concession stand and also at Kenton Nursing and Rehab.

In her free time, she enjoyed bowling at Hillcrest Lanes in Kenton. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved seeing them.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Alma's honor may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
