After the passing of Harold, Alice became the manager of Saulisberry Park. Alice was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church.

Alice enjoyed camping, fishing, and growing flowers, esp. African violets. In her later years she enjoyed traveling, actually visiting every state in the United States, including Hawaii. Alice started her shuffleboard career during this time and even earned enough points to be ranked as a professional in both Florida and Ohio, reaching her top rank of 8th in Ohio. She was a member of the Bluffton Shuffleboard Club in Ohio and Winter Haven Shuffleboard Club in Florida.

Memorial donations may be made to Saulisberry Park in care of the funeral home.
