of Kenton
A celebration of life for Alice Hastings will be held at a later date. It was her wish to be cremated. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Alice passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born on August 2, 1947 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Gerald and Ruth Pauline (Gillen) Hastings.
Surviving are her brother; Don (Judy) Hastings, sisters; Barb Roby, Donna Harbor, Carolyn Gayheart, Marilyn (Krew) Manns, Diana (Todd) Legge, Deanna Cooper, Lisa Furr all of Kenton, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Kathy Hastings, Patricia Hastings, and a brother; Charles Hastings.
Alice worked as a nurse's aide for the local nursing homes including Hardin Hills. She was a very social person who enjoyed talking to people and going shopping and out to eat. She also enjoyed going for long walks and doing word puzzles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Alice's honor may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
