Alan Edgar "Ed" Wells passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 75. He was born on February 27,1950, in Kenton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Ruth Wells, and aunts and uncles, LeRoy Byron Perry, Jean Ramga, and Donna Robinson.  A first cousin, LeRoy Byron Perry, also preceded him in death.  

Surviving is first cousins, Jan Baggett (John), Barbara (Babs) Dobbs (Glenn), David Ramga (Julie), Daniel Ramga (Nancy), and second cousins Richie Perry (Jackie) and Kristie Perry Tolbert (Earl). 

Ed was a 1968 graduate of Kenton High School and served in the US Army National Guard from June 1970 to February 1976.Heworked at the Honda plant in Marysville, Ohio before retiring. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the OSU Buckeyes.  He was a professional bowler who loved to bowl and enjoyed bowling on a team.  He also loved golf and spent hours at the local golf course. He inherited warmth and sincerity from his parents.  His cousins remember his sense of humor and that he was fun to be around.

There will be no services for Ed. He will be put to rest in Grove Cemetery in Kenton, Ohio. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Memorial contributions in memory of Ed may be made to the Kenton High School Boosters Club designated for the golf program.
