Weslyn-Marie L. Dye, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 10, 2018. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 29, 1955 . She married Harry L. Dye in 1973 and he survives along with their beloved daughter, Beth Ann Dye of Bryan, Ohio and other relatives in the Midwest.
Earning two Bachelor Degrees with a major in Psychology and Sociology, Weslyn also obtained many certificates and was an advocate for continuing education. Weslyn also enjoyed reading, working word puzzles, collecting seashells, interior decorating, walking and exploring and training German Shepherds, and most of all doing things with her daughter, Beth Ann.
A free-lance writer, her articles, house-hold hints, short stories, and money saving tips have appeared in numerous publications including General Interest Magazines, Hobby and Craft Publications, and Romance Magazines. Her Children's book "Chestnut's Extraordinary Adventure" was part of an anthology published for libraries and reading groups across the nation and her book length Romantic Suspense Story was featured in a major romance Magazine. Weslyn also enjoyed writing and selling all types of greeting card verses and helping others start their writing careers.
A private graveside services will be held Monday, 14, 2018 at Hale Cemetery in Mt. Victory, with Pastor Fred Albert officiating.
At the request of the family, all memorial donations may be made to Hillside Country Living, Care of Anna's House 09876 C.R. 16 Bryan, Ohio 43506. Anna's House provides wonderful care to so many loved ones who suffer from Dementia.
