Funeral Services for Wesley Logan Broseke will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, January 31, 2019 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Gregg King and Pastor Tom Kahley officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit 4:00PM till 8:00PM Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the funeral home.
He died on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Hardin Hills Health Center. He was born on August 31, 1930 in Dunkirk to the late Walter and Louise (Flinn) Broseke. On June 28, 1953 he married Joan Firestone and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 3 sons; Michael (Teresa) Broseke of Kenton, Wesley (Brenda) Broseke of Kenton and Timothy (Marsha) Broseke of Humble, TX. 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Walter Edmond Broseke II and J. Charles Broseke.
Wesley was a veteran of the US Army, serving from 1951-1953 serving in Germany during the Korean War.
He retired from Imperial Cup and was a Hardin County Commissioner from 1993-1996.
He was a very active member of the Hardin County community. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, DAV's, Amvets Post 1994, Elks, Mason, Shriners and was a Pleasant Township Trustee. He also attended The First Christian Church. In his free time, Wesley enjoyed working on small appliances and electronics or working in his gardening, planting and raising vegetables.
