There will be no services for Thomas Waddle Jr. as it was his wishes to be cremated.
He died at 2:05 am Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born on November 22, 1947 in Kenton to the late Thomas and Nellie (Cozad) Waddle Sr. On August 25, 1971 he married Mary Nickell and she preceded him in death on May 8, 2005.
Surviving are 1 daughter, Jennifer Waddle-Cox of Kenton; 1 son Todd Waddle of Kenton; 5 granddaughters, Chelsee Rose, Kasaundra Collins, Makenna Ward, and Abigail and Kaiden Waddle; 1 great grandson, Brayson Rose; and several brothers and sisters.
Thomas had a degree in social work and was an ordained minister.
He as an outgoing person, led church services at the Kenton Nursing & Rehab, and was very artistic, enjoying drawing and sketching.
Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is handling arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
