Services for Martha Lawrence will be held at 2:00 Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow in Norman Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until time of services on Sunday.
She died at 12:10 am Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Hardin Hills Health Center. She was born on September 08, 1929 in Auxier, KY to the late Elzie and Angie (Leffler) Webb. On January 19, 1947 she married Robert D. Lawrence and he preceded her in death on March 17, 2000.
Surviving are 1 daughter, Kathy Vermillion of Kenton; 2 sons, Mike (Cathy) Lawrence of Kenton, and Robert (Deb) Lawrence of Marion; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Jenny Osborne, Cynthia Greathouse, Roberta Jett, and Cora Greathouse; and 4 brothers, Roger Webb, Dave Webb, Frankie Webb, and Jim Webb.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ralph E. Lawrence, a daughter, Angela Burd, grandson, Christopher Lawrence, great grandson, Drew Helton, 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
Martha was a laundry supervisor at the former Corinthian Nursing Home.
Her biggest passion was taking care of her family.
Memorials may be made to Hardin Hills Activities Fund.
