Visitation for Lindberg "Bud" Stephens will be from 1:00 to 6:00 Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will be at a later date as it was his wishes to be cremated.
He died at 8:00am Thursday, March 22, 2018 at St. Ritas Medical Center. He was born March 3, 1929 in Mid, Kentucky to the late William and Fanny (Bailey) Stephens. On December 14, 1999 he married Sondra Cosart and she survives in Kenton. 
Also surviving are 4 daughters, Faye Lawrence of Kenton, Carol (David) Close of McDonough GA, Holly (John Gibson) Risner of Ada, and Ashley (Jeff) Hall of Forest, 2 sons Roger (Beth) Stephens of Kenton and Joel Stephens of Kenton, 3 sisters, Mildred Hare of Kenton, Lucille Fout of Kenton, and Angie (Dick) Tracy of Kenton, 1 brother, Mike (Jackie) Stephens of Kenton, 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. 
He was preceded in death by 2 daughters; Paula Roseann and Marie Irene Stephens, 1 son; Thomas Eugene Stephens, 5 brothers; Mark, Ollie, Curtis, Hayward, and William Clark Stephens, 2 sisters; Geneva Hedrick and Jeanne Sorrels. 
Bud worked for the Railroad and then worked at Rockwell for 60 years. 
Work and family was a big part of his life. He loved to tinker and his favorite phrase was "Be smarter than the machine you are working with".
