Funeral services for Laura Elizabeth Williams will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 13th, 2020 at the Mt. Victory Church of Christ with Pastor Jim Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Hale Cemetery. Friends and family may visit on Sunday, January 12th, 2020 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Laura passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 surrounded by her family at her home. She was born on April 24th, 1957 in Albany, New York to Johanna (Joseph) Pino of Stuyvesant, New York and the late Richard E. Davis. On April 3rd, 2004 she married Russell Williams and he survives in Mt. Victory.
Also surviving are 4 daughters; Nicole (Aaron) Ashba of Dublin, Christina Parks of London, OH, Alicia Shape of Mt. Victory, Monica (George) Bailey of New Bloomington, 2 sons; Jeremy (Carrie) Tackett of Delaware, Jackson (Jamie) Williams of Prospect, 5 sisters; Shirley (Ray) Seefeld of Burnt Hills, N.Y., Lisa (Mike) Ross of Isle of Light, U.K., Wendy (Mark) Riffelbach of Burnt Hills, N.Y., Tara (Evan) McGrath of Clifton Park, N.Y., Monique Davis of Malta, N.Y., 3 brothers; Richard (Colleen) Davis of Castleton, N.Y., Curt (Justine) Davis of Ballston Spa, N.Y., Ronald (Debbie) Proniske of Ascot, U.K., 14 grandchildren; Brianna, Brady, Matthew, Aubrey, Brooklyn, Bryan, Thea, Jaimeson, Everly, Oakley, Jacob, Kaleb, Carter, Madison, step-mother; Catherine (Skip) Wilson of Malta, N.Y., 2 step-sisters; Valerie Betram of Valatie, N.Y., Jolene (Mark) McClintick of Brunswick, Maine, a special-person; Cathy (Jim) Hogencamp of Valatie, N.Y. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Laura was an active and proud member of the Mt. Victory Community serving as the Mayor for 4 years, was on village council for 12 years, on the park committee, and served on multiple other committees for the village and county.
She worked as a teachers aide and bus driver for Ridgemont Schools for 12 years and Simon Kenton for 5 years. She was also the owner and operator of the Mt. Victory Drive Thru.
Laura was a member of and actively attending the Mt. Victory Church of Christ.
In her free time, Laura enjoyed attending paint and sips, crochet/knitting, and cooking but her true passion was her family. Laura loved being "Nana" and spending time with her grandchildren, whom were her greatest joy.
Memorial donations may be made to Ohio Health Hospice or the Village of Mt. Victory Park Fund.
