A Celebration of Life Service for Dennis L. Douglas will be held at a later date. The Price - McElroy Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. 
He died on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at his residence. He was born on January 23, 1945 in Mason, West Virginia to the late Dennis Odell and Ova Kathlene (Lee) Douglas. On December 13, 1962 he married Lois Wright and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 3 daughters; Gloria Jean Douglas of Sidney, Kathy Jo (Rick) Godwin of Russell Point and Teri Lynn (Mark) McIntire of Kenton. 1 son; Curtis L. (Rita) of Kenton. 2 sisters; Pheobe Cotterman of Lewistown and Brenda Allen of Sidney. 1 brother; Max (Karen) Douglas of Anna. 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 
He was preceded in death by 1 sister; Nadine Douglas and 3 infant brothers; Eddie, Joey, Chucky Douglas and a special pet; his dog Moochie.  
Dennis was an active man who loved life. He never knew a stranger and would anyone who needed it. He enjoyed being outdoors, working in his yard and garden and having barbeques with his family. When he sat down to relax, he enjoyed watching the Reds and Professional Wrestling. Dennis was also a huge animal lover, especially for his dogs.
In lieu of flower memorial donations may be made to St. Rita's Hospice.
