Funeral Services for Daniel Kay Skinner will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 1, 2019 at The Price - McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Tom Mulholland officiating. Burial will follow in Preston Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 1:00 PM till 5:00 PM on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the funeral home. 

Daniel died peacefully at OSU Medical Center on June 25, 2019 after being diagnosed with Leukemia. He was born on October 31, 1952 in Glouster, Ohio to the late Jesse and Eileen (Clark) Skinner. On May 6, 1988 he married Rebecca Mulholland and she survives in Kenton. 

Also surviving is 1 son; Christopher (Lori) Skinner of Glouster, Ohio. 1 daughter; Jessica (Aaron Vanschoyck) Skinner of Bellefontaine. 1 brother; Scott Skinner of Athens. 6 Grandchildren; Ethan, Kylee, Ella, Owen, Alexsis and Weston. 

Daniel graduated from Trimble High School. 

Besides working at NEX all the time Dan loved playing with his grandkids. He loved going fishing, playing pool and being outside as much as possible. He spent most of his weekends at the Eagles in Kenton unless there was an Ohio State football game going on.
