Racing was a huge part of the Gibson family life, and even though Brenda was not driving the car, race day could have never happened if not for her hard work.Brenda did anything that needed done, from preparing meals to doing book keeping. She was a true pioneer for women in the racing industry, so much so that she was introduced into the 2016 class of the Sandusky Speedway Administrative Hall of Fame.
Not only was Brenda a hard worker at the track she was a hard worker at home. She worked in the North Union School Systems for over 30 years. She drove bus, worked in the cafeteria and also handled play ground duty.
When Brenda wasn't working or at the race tracks, she loved to spend time with her family, especially going to the grandkids sporting events and cheering them on. She was deeply loved and will be missed dearly.
