Funeral Services for Avinell Manns will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Price - McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow in McDonald Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the funeral home. 
She died October 5, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on June 11, 1939 in Prestonsburg, KY to the late Earl and Vernal (Click) Crisp. On May 9, 1957 she married Virgil Manns and he preceded her in death on October 22, 2009. 
Surviving are 4 daughters; Patricia (Ivan) Parcher of Upper Sandusky, Virgie (Gene) Majchrzak of Orchard Park, NY, Ruthie Manns of Marysville and Beverly (David) Bustamante of Fort Worth, TX. 1 son; Blake (Danielle) Manns of Bluffton. 4 sisters; Loretta Crisp Davidson of Kenton, Hazel Crisp of Arcadia, OH, Tina Crisp of Kenton and Dee Crisp of Kenton. 1 brother; Mike Crisp of Rawson. 12 Grandchildren; Jamey Hamlin, Joel Hamlin, Brice (Lyndsay) Helton, Ashleigh Houser, Brittanie (Habib) Shakkour, Michael Majchrzak, Dillon (Mila) Anderson, Shane Mouser, Brandt Manns, Isabella Manns, Samantha (Robert) Wade and Sean Cowhey. 16 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by 4 brothers; Coy Crisp, Cain Crisp, Dean Crisp and Wayne Crisp, 5 sisters; Linda Crockett, Jay Smith, Judy Bolen, Bernice Johnson and Mae Nichols. 
Avinell was a woman of faith. She was a founding member of the First Church of God in Kenton, where she taught Sunday School, played the piano, and was a board member until its closing in 2015. After the church closed she started attending The Church of the Nazarene in Kenton.
Avinell was a child care provider in her own home for over 45 years. She will be remembered for helping others and teaching children about Jesus as often as she could.
When she wasn't babysitting or helping someone else, Avinell enjoyed gardening and could grow anything that she planted.
