of Findlay formerly of Kenton
Services for Alta Boger will be held at 2:00 Tuesday, April 03, 2018 at Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at the Committal Building in Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until time of services on Tuesday.
She died at 12:15 am Friday, March 30, 2018 at The Heritage in Findlay. She was born on January 14, 1920 in Maypearl, TX to the late George and Alice (Radican) Walters. In 1942 she met the love of her life and married him, Leroy Boger, on February 19, 1945. He preceded her in death on September 22, 2004.
Surviving are daughter, Pam Loveridge of Findlay; daughter-in-law Linda Boger of Lima; 5 grandchildren, Dennis (Addie) Loveridge, Bridget (David) Lepley, Aric (Aubrey) Loveridge, Shane (Jennifer) Boger, and Joshua (Kristie) Boger; and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son Donald Boger, son-in-law Jim Loveridge, 4 sisters and 6 brothers.
She was a homemaker and had worked at the old Hardin County Library for 11 years.
Alta was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Garden Club.
She loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed gardening, bird watching, reading, crafting, baking, camping, and traveling.
Alta and Leroy resided in Caldwell for 30 years before moving back to Kenton.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Kenton.
