Funeral services for Wanda Fae Reissig will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Dunkirk Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home.

She died at 10:01 A.M. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at The Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 5, 1953 in Kenton to the late Daniel and Lute (Cole) Barnett. On June 16, 1973 she married Larry Reissig and he survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are 2 sisters; Norma (Junior) Joseph of Dunkirk, Wilma Sheets of Kenton and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister; Amanda Shiffler and a brother-in-law; Richard Sheets.

Wanda was a 1973 graduate of Hardin Northern High School. She enjoyed hunting arrowheads with her husband, gardening, and cooking. Her true passion were her pets. She was huge animal lover and even rescued a number of animals.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hardin County Humane Society.
