Graveside services for Virginia Dyer will be private. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton in handling the arrangements.
She died at 4:44 A.M. Monday, April 10, 2017 at The Western Reserve Masonic Community in Medina, Ohio. She was born on September 9, 1931 in Ridgeway, to the late Pirdun and Mamie (Corwin) Winter. On September 7, 1951 she married Clinton E. "Elmo" Dyer and he preceded her in death on November 27, 2008.
Surviving are 2 daughters; Diana (Tom) Beach of Kenton, Marilyn Stout of Chesterfield, MI, 4  grandchildren; Shawn (Tracey) Beach of Lake Orion, MI, Megan (Jesse) Peticca of Medina, Dulcy (Henry Cotter) Stout of Singapore, Dustin (Rebecca) Stout of Chesterfield, MI, and 6 great-grandchildren; Zachary and Eliana Beach, Annabella and Andrew Stout, and Tyler and Cameron Peticca.
She was preceded in death by a sister; Marie Hooper, and a brother; Lloyd Winter.
Virginia was a life member of the Ridgeway United Methodist Church and a retired teachers aid for the Ridgemont School District.
She was a 60 year member of  Easter Star, where she held many offices, including being the president. She was also a Pink Lady for the Hardin Memorial Hospital, where she put in many hours of volunteering.
Virginia was an expert in needlework. She could sew, knit or crochet anything and enjoyed doing so. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, whenever and wherever she could.
