Services for Sandra Sue Newland will be held on Monday February 15, 2016 at 11:00 A.M at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Steve Walter officiating. Burial will follow at Wolfcreek Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M Sunday February 14 at the funeral home.
She died at 7:00 A.M at her residence. She was born on March 24, 1943 in LaRue to the late Burley and Mary (Dunson) Seiler. She married Wayne Miller Sr. and they later divorced. On June 20, 1970 she married Billie Newland and he survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 2 daughters; Jacklyn (Dennis) Mungle of Indianapolis, Mary (Kenneth)Davis of Marion, 6 sons; Billy (Ellen) Newland of Kenton, Rick (Cathy) Newland of Kenton, Tim (Tory) Newland of Kenton, Wayne (Sharon) Miller of Mt. Victory, John (Amber Nye) Miller of Fostoria, Allen (Lisa) Miller of Galion, 1 sister; Marilyn (Mike) Laquatra of West Lake, 1 sister-in-law; Lucille Newland of Foraker, 28 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 1 nephew; Michael (Lynnette) Laquatra of Long Beach Cali.
She was preceded in death by 1 brother; Richard Seiler and 2 infant great -granddaughters; Annabelle and Abigail Davis.
Sandra was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and a board member for the LaRue Alumni. She was also a member of the Hat Clug; Girls of 61. She enjoyed reading, fishing, and camping. She also enjoyed baking for the county fair where she won several awards. Sandra was a huge sports fan, her favorite teams were Michigan, Detroit Tigers, and the Oakland Raiders.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hardin County Hospice.
