Services for Robert G. Williams with be held at 1:00pm Wednesday January 3, 2018 at Price - McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Norman Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the services on Wednesday. 
He died Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Brookdale Senior Living Center in Piqua, Ohio. He was born on June 8, 1932 in Kenton to the late Clyde and Carol Bell (Clark) Williams. On November 23, 1956 he married Marilyn Kearns and she preceded him in death on April 21, 2014. 
Surviving are 1 son David (Patricia) Williams of Piqua. 2 brothers Ralph Williams of Florida and Raymond Williams of Kenton. 3 grandchildren Jordan (Elizabeth) Williams of Piqua, Emily Williams of Piqua and Allison Williams of Columbus. Great grandchildren Audrey, Jackson and Conner. Numerous nieces and nephews. 
He was preceded in death by 3 sisters Mabel Williams, Ava Elsasser, Helen Whitaker and 3 brothers Clark Williams, Russell Williams and Ronald Williams. 
Robert was a member of the Epworth Church where he sang in the choir and was also a member of the Hepburn Church.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and he worked for Whirlpool for 41 years until his retirement.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, golf, sports and woodworking; making toys for kids and furniture. 
Robert was also very active with the Emmaus Walk in Findlay, every year.
He was a family man and loved his grandchildren. 
Memorials may be made to Miami County Hospice.
