He died at 7:00 A.M. on Monday, December 25, 2017 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was born November 18, 1939 in Lena, Ohio to the late Frank and Goldie (Wolcutt) Rogers. On July 7, 1973 he married Beverly Nowlan and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are a son; Brett Rogers of Huntsville, 2 brothers; Vernon Rogers of St. Paris, Jimmy Rogers of Washington Courthouse, 3 grandchildren; Nicole Rogers, Anna (Colin) Dixon, Alex Rogers, several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son; Kent Rogers, 2 sisters; Stella Rhoades, Edna Killebrew, and a brother; Ronald Rogers.
Morris was a veteran of the United States Airforce.
He worked as a manager for C.W. Transport in Lima for 28 years. After its closure, Morris worked for The Village of Ada, and the Ada Local School System, as well as traveling around doing concession work at auctions and fairs.
Morris would also drive the Veterans transport for Hardin County, to help his fellow veterans.
He enjoyed camping, and building model military ships.
