Mary M. Cannode passed away at 2:29 am Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. 
Burial will be at a later date as it was her wishes to be cremated.
She was born on February 10, 1922 in Forest to the late Ora and Hattie (Lambert) Carpenter.  On November 01, 1938 she married Harold E. Cannode and he preceded her in death on January 14, 1986.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Mary E. Bumgarner of Mt. Victory and Judy (Robert) Connolly of Mt. Victory; a son, Kenneth (Barbara) Cannode of Mt. Victory; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 grandson, Kevin McCullough; 3 brothers Kenneth, Arthur, and Paul Carpenter, and 2 sisters, Beatrice Perkins and Juanita Benjamin.
Mary was a homemaker who enjoy flower gardens, reading, painting, and playing the organ.
Price - McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to donor's choice.
