Services for Mark Anderson will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 30, 2016 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Reverend Craig Mansfield officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with a Moose Lodge service being held at 6:30 P.M.
He died at 11:15 P.M. Monday, September 26, 2016 at his residence after an extended battle with cancer. He was born on April 20, 1959 in Kenton to Eddie Anderson and the late Sandra (Alexander) Anderson. On October 10, 1981 he married Christine Smith and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 2 sons; Ryan Anderson of Columbus, Aaron Anderson of Kenton, a brother; Jeff Anderson of Kenton, a step-brother; Todd Rall of Anderson S.C., 3 grandchildren; Bently, Austin, Ronin and a niece; Katie Anderson of Kenton.
He was preceded in death by his step-mother; Eileen Anderson and a sister; Renae Curtis.
Mark was a 1977 graduate of Kenton High School and was employed at Scioto Signs in Kenton.
He was a member of the Kenton Moose Lodge.
Mark enjoyed listening to music, his favorite bands being The Beatles and Todd Rundgren. He also enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. His true joy was spending time with his family.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Kenton.
