Funeral services for Marjory Mae Jepsen will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at a later date. Friends and family may call Thursday, 3 hours prior to services.
She died at 4:54 P.M. on Monday, February 6, 2017 at her residence. She was born on April 7, 1938 in Kenton to the late Clarence Gilbert and Jennie (Kipp) James. On July 3, 1957 she married John Jepsen and he survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 2 daughters; Ann (Richard) Teeters of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Susan (Paul) Lohrber of Kenton, a brother; David Gilbert of Kenton,4 grandchildren; Denae (Shane) Griggs, Desiree Teeters, Lindsay (Randy Jr) Payne, Erika Hamilton,5 great-grandchildren; Payton, Gavin, Kennedy, Kerrigan, Sidney, 2 nieces and nephews; Stephen (Sarah) Gilbert, Melissa Gilbert, and a special friend Barb Butler.
She was preceded in death by a brother; Paul Gilbert and a grandson; Douglas Teeters.
Marjory was a 1956 graduate of Kenton High School and retired from being a clerk at The Hardin Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Money Tree Investment club, and the Compromise Community Club.
She enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling, but most of all she loved her family and friends.
