Graveside services for Luella Marie Hiller will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Dunkirk Cemetery with Pastor Mark Hollinger officiating, there will be no public visitation.
She died at 7:14 P.M. Friday August 26, 2016 at her residence. She was born December 22, 1929 in Hancock County to the late John Orville and Opal Marie (Hess) Willeke. On June 24, 1951 she married her husband of 65 years, Kenneth Hiller and he survives in Dola.
Also surviving are 2 daughters; Marjorie Hiller of Leetonia, OH, Martha (Mike) Tickel of Westerville, a son; Daniel (Tracy) Hiller of Ada, 2 sisters; Vondale McNeal of Kenton, Jeanie (Scott) Madis of Medina, 4 grandchildren; Nathaniel Hiller of Edington, Alberta Canada, Lisa Tickel of Westerville, James Tickel of Gahanna, Joseph Tickel of Westerville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son; John Hiller.
Luella was a member of the Nimble Thimble Quilt Club, and enjoyed anything to do with sewing and knitting.  She was a true homemaker who raised her children and took care of her home and helped on the farm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
