Kay came to the United States by boat in 1953 and lived in Kenton, Ohio most of her life. She overcame many hardships and influenced many with her strength, grace, and joyful spirit. Kay had a laugh and smile that was infectious and made others feel comfortable. She worked at several factories including North Electric, Kenton Molded Plastics, and RBM. Her last position was as a packer at Imperial Cup where she won multiple attendance awards and made many friends.
In 1994 she became a US citizen and was very proud of that accomplishment. She was a member of the Eagles, Moose, and Amvets where she loved listening to bands. She thoroughly enjoyed country music and line dancing every weekend. She was also active in the Hardin County Agency on Aging.
In lieu of flowers or memorial contributions, the family suggests volunteering at least one hour “For the Love of Kay”, at a nursing home or assisted living facility.
