A celebration of life service for Karen S. Burgbacher will be held at a later date.
She died at 12:24 am on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at St. Rita's Hospital. She was born on June 26, 1952 in Hardin County to the late Herbert and Phyllis Jean (Downing) Coy.
Surviving are a daughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Smith of Kenton; a son, Ike Burgbacher of Forest; granddaughters, Lindsey and Abigail Smith; sisters Janet (Greg) Gremling of Lima; and Joyce Coy of Kenton; sister-in-law Rosey Coy of Mt. Victory; and 4 nephews and 1 niece.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Herb Coy and a sister, Sharon Savage.
She worked at Coupled Products in Upper Sandusky.
Karen loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed collecting wind chimes and was an avid Nascar  fan, especially liking Tony Stewart.
Price McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is handling arrangements.
