Services for Joanne M. Holford will be held at 1:00 Monday, January 16, 2017 at Price - McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton, with Father Jeffrey Tigyer officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 until times of services on Monday.
She died at 1:45 pm Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at her residence. She was born on October 15, 1933 in Springfield to the late Gustav and Helen (Hook) Burgstaller. On November 15, 1952 she married Donald "Doc" Holford and he preceded her in death on March 22, 2012.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Debbie (Nelson) Baxley of East Liberty; Linda Kuk of Findlay; and Cindy Smith of Findlay; 1 son, Don Holford of Kenton; grandchildren, Kelsey (Bryan) Rinehart of Marion; Ryan Smith of Bellefontaine; Nick Scharf of Dublin; Erin Scharf of Ridgeway; Kelly Baxley of Bellefontaine; Blake Holford of Indian Lake; Kyle Woodruff of Lima;  Wade Burba of Bellefontaine; Amity (Jeremy) Stokes of Cable, OH; and Kipton (Kelly) Burba of Columbia, SC; several great grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Benston of Springfield. She also is survived by 2 very good friends Ruth Fry and Kelly Risner both of Kenton.
She was preceded in death by 4 siblings.
Joanne retired from Hardin Memorial Hospital after 25 years of service.
She enjoyed being with her friends, dining out, and traveling.
